Call for Application to Participate in Workshops to Evaluate Regional States Annual Governance

The Center for the Advancement of Rights and Democracy (CARD) is seeking experts to participate in workshops to evaluate the governance of regional administrations in Ethiopia according to democratic principles. Participants of the workshop will be paid a daily stipend.

The evaluation will involve multiple experts with the following qualifications:

  • Excellent understanding and up-to-date information on the governance situation in a region or more,

  • Specialized expertise in one of the following areas: civil liberty, elections and political pluralism, socio-economic rights, government effectiveness, protection of minorities, or check and balance,

  • Master's degree or more in a relevant social science field

Selected applicants will be required to participate in a day-long workshop where they will discuss and fill out a questionnaire with 30 questions. Participants will be paid ETB 3,000 per day. Some experts may be selected for multiple days of participation based on their specializations.
